Darlene works in silver and gold, and
much of her design centers around beautiful, unique stones, dichroic
glass and enameling.
"I worked for over twenty years in the
logical world of computers. I have always worked hard and
progressed in my field. Over the years I grew more dissatisfied with the
restrictions of the business environment. I knew I needed a change
but I did not have a direction. I took personality aptitude
tests which told me I was suited to the job I was currently doing.
Disgusted, I just started taking all sorts of classes to see what would
catch my interest. Then suddenly, I found what I was
looking for, I began a silversmith class that changed my life. I
don't know where it will take me, but I have found my passion!"
